We are pleased to introduce Dr. Shivaji Subhash Salunke, an experienced and dedicated Surgical Oncologist at our hospital. Dr. Salunke completed his MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) in 2006, followed by his DNB (Diplomate of National Board of Medical Examinations) in General Surgery from Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital, Pune, and later earned his DrNB (Doctorate of National Board of Medical Examinations) in Surgical Oncology from Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (DNSH), New Delhi. Additionally, he has achieved certifications in FALS (Robotic Surgery) and FMAS (Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery) from New Delhi in 2022.

With a wealth of clinical experience, including his 3 years as a Senior Resident at Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital, New Delhi, and extensive training in robotic surgery in the Surgical Oncology Department at DNSH, New Delhi, Dr. Salunke is skilled in performing complex oncological surgeries. His special interests include head and neck surgeries, with a focus on preserving vital functions and appearance, free flap surgery, a critical component in advanced cancer reconstruction, and oncoplasty surgery, which integrates cancer removal with aesthetic reconstruction to enhance patient outcomes.
